I was born in 1984 and grew up in Uherský Brod (Czech Republic) near the White Carpathians. I attended high school of Jan Amos Comenius in Uherský Brod. Now I'm a student of The Faculty of Sciences, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. I did my bachelor's degree in Biology in the lab of Dr. Michal Žurovec in the Institute of Entomology, Czech Academy of Sciences. Now I'm student of master's degree in Experimental Biology and work in the lab of Dr. Masako Asahina-Jindrová in the Institute of Parasitology ASCR.
Photography has been my hobby since I was aprox. 8 years old. My first camera was Practica with 50mm fixed focal lens. Since I was 18 I've started to spend most of my free time with photography. Nature - animals and plants - soon became major topic of my photos, but I take pictures of people too - just for fun.
I believe, that photos of nature should always bring some message - message of vulnerability of our environment and necessity of protection of animals, plants and particularly their whole habitats.
